All were professional and well - reviewed , but Tal from T&N Remodeling was the only person to create a 3D digital rendering on his computer during our first meeting . He was full of good ideas to make the most of our small space while being mindful of our budget . We loved his design and immediately felt that he understood our needs and , frankly , knew better than us what we needed ! Shortly after we signed the contract , my husband decided to completely peace out on the project - insert exploding brain emoji here . I ' ve never been a Pinterest & HGTV kind of girl , and I didn ' t have visions of my dream kitchen dancing in my head . Thad no idea what I was doing or where to begin , regarding aesthetics or practicalities . I didn ' t know the first thing about flooring ( vinyl , tile , laminate ? ) , backsplash ( what ' s a schluter ? ) , etc . Lucky for me , Tal made the whole process as smooth as possible . He was patient with my myriad of beginner questions , and always very responsive . Additionally , all the guys who came to work on the house were respectful and did great work . We have a tiny house - the kitchen leads right into our small living room , and having people in the kitchen all day Could easily have been a very stressful experience , but it worked out just fine . We even went on vacation in the middle of renovations , and the project continued - - Tal and the workers were great and made sure the house was secured.
