Who We Are

This website is operated by T&N Remodeling Inc, doing business as T&N Remodeling, 5143 Varna Ave, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423, with another office at 29224 Firthridge Rd, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. California Contractors State License Board license #1063782. "We", "us" and "our" mean T&N Remodeling Inc.

This policy covers personal information we collect through this website, and when you call, text or email us about a request made here. It is also our notice at collection: the sections below say what we collect, why, who receives it and how long we keep it.

Information We Collect

We collect these categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact details: name, email address, phone number, and the address of your property. We use them to answer your request, prepare an estimate, schedule and perform the work, and keep records of it.
  • Project details: the service you ask about, anything you write in the message box, and details about your project and property. We use them to understand and quote the job.
  • Communications: your calls, texts and emails with us, call recordings on our office line (see Call Recording below), and your contact preferences. We use them to keep in touch about your project, keep a record of what you asked for, and honor opt-outs.
  • Text message records: if you opt in to texts, the time, page and wording of your consent, and the texts we exchange. We use them to send the texts you asked for and to prove your consent.
  • Internet activity: pages viewed, device and browser type, IP address, and, when you send a form, the address of the page you sent it from, the page that referred you, the page you landed on, campaign tags (UTM tags) and any Google, Meta or Microsoft ad click identifier. The campaign details are stored with your request in our customer records system. We use internet activity to keep the site secure and working, to stop spam, and, if you have not opted out, to measure and improve our website and advertising.
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address, used for the same purposes as internet activity.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security, bank or card numbers through this website.

Where It Comes From

From you, when you fill in our form, call, text or email us. From your device, automatically, when you use this website. From Google and Meta, as reports about how our website and ads perform.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

  • Providing quotes and consultations for remodeling services
  • Communicating with you about your project
  • Scheduling appointments and site visits
  • Improving our website and services
  • Complying with legal obligations

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:

None of the sharing below includes text messaging opt-in data or consent, or your mobile number collected for text messages. That information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

  • Service Providers: companies that help us run our business and this website, under terms that limit how they can use it:
    • Google Workspace, which stores each request in a Google Sheet through Google Apps Script
    • Our customer records system (CRM), where each request and its campaign details are kept, hosted for us by Vercel and Supabase
    • Resend, which delivers each request to our office by email and sends you a confirmation email
    • Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that a form is sent by a person and not a bot. It loads on every page, reads device and browser signals, and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
    • Google Analytics 4, for website measurement
    • Google Maps and YouTube, whose embedded map and videos on some pages receive your IP address and browser details when they load. Our videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode
    • Vercel, our website host, which processes the technical data every website visit generates
    • Accessibilik, the accessibility toolbar on our pages. It runs in your browser and loads its fonts and language files from GitHub Pages and Google Fonts, which receive your IP address when they load
    • GENESIS 98, the agency that builds and maintains this website, which counts page views on its own measurement service. It receives the page you view, the page that sent you and campaign tags, and turns your IP address and browser details into a code that changes every day so it can count visits without a cookie. When you have opted out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, it counts the visit without that code. It does not use the data for advertising
    • The provider of our phone and customer records system, which stores call recordings
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, sale, or acquisition of our business
  • Advertising: Unless you opt out, our Meta pixel tells Meta, meaning Facebook and Instagram, that a browser opened a page here and whether you sent us a form. When you send us a form, our server also tells Meta about that enquiry directly, so Meta still counts it if your browser blocked the pixel. That message includes your email address and phone number in hashed form (turned into a fixed code with SHA-256 before it leaves us, which Meta compares with the codes it holds to match it to an account), your IP address, your browser's user agent, the address of the page you sent the form from, the kind of form and the service you picked, and any Meta cookie or ad click identifier your browser holds. It does not include your name or the message you wrote. Under California law this is sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Opting out in the cookie notice stops both the pixel and the message from our server. The "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer opens that notice. We honor Global Privacy Control signals, and while your browser sends one, our server sends Meta nothing about your enquiry.

Text Messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use it only to reply to your request, schedule and confirm appointments, and send updates about your project. We do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy, and will not be shared with any third party.

Full details are in our SMS Terms of Service.

Call Recording

Calls to our office line, (323) 815-7275, may be recorded, and you hear a notice at the start of the call. We record calls for quality and training, and to keep a record of what you asked us for. Recordings are stored with the provider of our customer records system, kept for up to 90 days and then deleted, unless we keep one longer because it belongs to an active project.

Selling and Sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold any in the past 12 months.

The Meta pixel and the message our server sends Meta about an enquiry, both described under Information Sharing, count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. In the past 12 months we have shared identifiers (hashed email address and phone number, IP address) and internet activity with Meta in this way. You can opt out at any time with the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of any page.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose that would give you a right to limit it under California law.

Your Choices

Google Analytics and the Meta pixel run from your first visit unless you opt out. Use "Opt out" on the cookie notice, or the "Cookie Settings" or "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of any page. Opting out switches off both tags and the message from our server to Meta, and clears the cookies the tags set.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing and apply it automatically. While your browser sends the signal, our server sends Meta nothing about your enquiry. The signal takes priority over any choice made earlier on this site, as our Cookie Policy explains. Browsers send "Do Not Track" in different ways and there is no common standard for it, so we rely on Global Privacy Control instead.

To stop text messages, reply STOP to any text from us.

How Long We Keep It

We keep request and project records, including the campaign details stored with a request, for as long as we need them to respond to you, perform and document the work, honor any warranty, and meet our legal, tax and licensing record-keeping obligations. Then we delete or de-identify them. Call recordings are kept as described under Call Recording. Text consent records are kept for as long as we may text you and as long afterwards as we need them to show your consent. Website analytics data is kept no longer than the retention set in the analytics service, and the cookies' own lifetimes are listed in our Cookie Policy.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No website or system is completely secure, so please do not send payment card or bank details through our form.

Your Privacy Rights

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honor the same requests from every customer. You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what categories of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it and who receives it
  • Give you a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you
  • Delete it, subject to exceptions the law allows, such as records we must keep
  • Correct it if it is inaccurate
  • Stop any sale or sharing of it

We will not deny you service, charge you a different price or give you a lower quality of service because you used any of these rights.

How to Make a Request

To use these rights, email us at Tnremodelinginc@gmail.com, call (323) 815-7275, or write to us at 5143 Varna Ave, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423. To opt out of sharing you do not need to contact us: use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer.

We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, and tell you if we need more time.

To protect you, we verify a request by matching details you give us against the details we hold, such as your name, phone number and property address. We ask for more for a request to see or delete specific information than for a request about categories. You can ask someone to act for you as your authorized agent; we will ask for your signed permission and may ask you to verify your identity directly.

Children

This website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell or share it.

Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. Which ones we set, how to switch our analytics and advertising measurement off, and how we handle browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control are all described in our Cookie Policy. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Changes to This Policy

When we change this policy we update the "Last Updated" date above. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell you before it applies.
