Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how T&N Remodeling Inc uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
Why Do We Use Cookies?
We use cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our website to operate, and we refer to these as "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies. Other cookies enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our website.
Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with services available through our website and to use some of its features.
Performance and Analytics Cookies
These cookies are used to collect information about traffic to our website and how users use our website. The information gathered may include the number of visitors to our website, the websites that referred them, the pages they visited, the time of day they visited, and other similar information. We use this information to help operate our website more efficiently, to gather broad demographic information, and to monitor the level of activity on our website.
Functionality Cookies
These cookies allow our website to remember choices you make when you use our website, such as remembering your language preferences. The purpose of these cookies is to provide you with a more personal experience and to avoid you having to re-enter your preferences every time you visit our website.
How Can You Control Cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can exercise that right through the notice described below, or you can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies.
Performance and analytics cookies are set when a page on this site loads. A notice appears at the bottom of the screen on your first visit with an Opt out control, and choosing it stops that collection immediately — it switches off Google Analytics and the Meta pixel we use for advertising measurement in your browser and clears the cookies they had already set. Your choice is remembered on this device, so the notice does not come back on its own. You can change it at any time with the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page, which reopens the notice showing your current setting — opening it changes nothing until you choose.
One thing that opt-out does not switch off, because it is not a cookie and not a tracker: when you arrive we record the campaign parameters in the address of the page you landed on, including any Google or Meta click identifier, in your browser’s session storage. It happens on arrival, before and regardless of any choice you make here, and it is how we know which advertisement brought you to us. It clears when you close the tab, and it only reaches us if you send us a form, in which case it is stored alongside your enquiry in our customer record so we can tell which advertising is worth running.
If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we read it and treat it as an opt-out request: Google Analytics and the Meta pixel do not run, and the cookies they had already set are cleared. The campaign capture described above is not a cookie and continues, on the signal as on an opt-out. You are not shown the first-visit notice either, because the signal has already answered it. A choice you make on this site takes priority over the signal in both directions — if you have opted out here you stay opted out whether the signal is on or not, and if you send the signal but would rather be measured on this site, the Cookie Settings link in the footer offers an Allow analytics control, and that choice is remembered on this device. We fall back to the signal only when you have made no choice here.
If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our website though your access to some functionality and areas of our website may be restricted. You may also set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies.
