“As someone who genuinely pays attention to reviews on Yelp I hope my review can give peace of mind and be helpful to someone else. I've now had a series of various remodel projects done at my home and it's very rare to work with a contractor who is so on top of scheduling and making sure any issues that arise are promptly addressed. I'm not going to pretend that my bathroom remodel went perfectly -- it didn't. There were hiccups. Sometimes that happens, so thats why it's so important to work with a company that stands by their word and their work that you can trust will not leave you high and dry if there are complications. I've been burned by some other contractors and it's very frustrating and confusing when their work for you is in glaring contrast to their positive reviews. T&N, however, have proven to be a company you can count on to be very responsive, do good work, and make sure you're happy. A lot of companies out there make that claim but I can speak from experience that they truly strive to make sure you are satisfied. As I've found with all contractors I've dealt with it's always important and useful to regularly document & take pics of the work being done in case something is missed or overlooked. This is very beneficial to any construction process so that it is clear what is being done... especially when subcontractors are involved. As a bonus it's helpful to know where things are behind the walls when the work is complete so you can reference in the future when necessary... like knowing the actual location of the studs (sometimes stud finders are a pain), and where electric wires and plumbing pipes are (to know where to avoid when drilling into the wall). Throughout the process I would send T&N pics of things I wanted addressed and they would take care of them. If I could offer up some feedback for improvement it would be to encourage them to have more communication between the various guys they sub out and to be more vocal with the homeowner about what the approach will be with certain aspects. Some homeowners are totally fine with completely tuning out what is happening, but many of us like to know and stay informed so making sure to always properly explain to the homeowner what the plan for execution is would add to their devotion to great customer service. I designed my bathroom and chose all of the fixtures, sink, toilet, etc so I can't speak for them on that level, but they were able to make my bathroom look how I envisioned it. T&N's main worker Marlon is awesome. He's such a nice guy and a very hard worker and you can tell he doesn't cut corners. I really appreciated that he walked me through situations and options when an issue arose like when a pre-existing wall wasn't perfectly level that we were installing the sink vanity onto and how to properly address that while making sure it was aesthetically pleasing. My bathroom now looks awesome and I'm very happy. And it's awesome knowing that I trust they will stand by their work if an unknown issue were to arise. Thanks Tal & Aiden!”
